  • Please wear clothing that's comfortable and moveable. Dance shoes are recommended but not required. If you don't have dance shoes, bring shoes that are smooth soled and some socks to dance in just in case. No need to purchase anything special for your first lessons!

Wedding Couples— If you have your wedding shoes picked out, please bring those to practice in.

  • Nope! All levels are welcome. I do my best to tailor lessons to each unique student and their needs. That means YOU! Your goals, experience, learning style, and movement abilities will all be taking into considering as we work through steps and techniques, build confidence in your dance, and have fun learning something new!

We'll discuss any prior dance experience, goals, and accommodations you may have at your New Student Consultation to make sure our lessons are a good fit.

  • Great question! Beginner lessons are available for all dance styles. When choosing a new style, consider what types of music you enjoy and what your dance goals are. Do you like jazz, pop, blues, or latin? Are you preparing for a social event? Do you have previous dance experience that you're looking to build on, or are you wanting to try something outside the box?

Still deciding? This is a great question for us to discuss at your New Student Consultation. I would love to help you explore different movement and guide you toward a style that you'll enjoy.
